    Scope

While coming up with an engineering project plan, you have to include the qualifications that you will look for from the site officials that you will be working with. It is very important that you make sure that the officials you are working with are qualified. The scope of this description is to help the project planners know the qualities that they are supposed to look out for as well as the documentation for the engineers they are about to hire.

    Procedure

Education for all engineers is a must have. For one to claim that they are qualified engineers they need to have some form of training. You need to set standards on the level of education that the engineers are supposed to have. You also have to make sure that these engineers went to accredited schools. There are so many schools that are offering engineering syllabus and you have to make sure that the engineers you will have at the site will have gone to the right engineering schools.

For the engineers to be said to be qualified officials they also need to be registered by the relevant bodies that register engineers. The bodies help to certify the engineers and tell the true engineers from the fake ones. Just to be sure that they are qualified you need to ask for proof of their registration with these bodies.

Just going to school and getting registered does not make one a qualified person especially as an engineer. They need to have some level of hands on experience. You need to make sure the engineers you been in the field and can be said to have some experience. This is not a trial and error and you have to be very careful. This however does not mean that you only look for people who have been working for a long time for them to be considered as qualified officials.

The officials will also have team leaders amongst them. You have to make sure that these team leaders have the needed qualifications for management. This is the only way you are going to be sure that they will led the team members that they are assigned to effectively. You don’t want to have team leaders that are not even sure of what they are doing. This will just stall the project.

The project manager also needs to have the necessary qualifications for management. If you do not have these skills then you can always take short courses so that you can get to learn about these skills. This will help you effectively manage the officials that are on the ground. You have to make sure that no matter the qualifications of the team members that you always teat them with respect. Treating them with respect will help them have a positive attitude towards the work that they are doing and this is important. When the workers are happy, the project will proceed very well and everything will work as planned.
