P6: Cannot export to Excel while sub-units for duration/time are enabled (Solved)

If you faced this Error Message While Exporting your Excel Sheet.

The error message you encountered in Primavera P6 indicates that you have the “Sub-unit for the duration/Time” option enabled in your user preferences, and it is preventing the export to Excel. To resolve this issue, you need to disable the sub-unit option.

From the “Edit” menu, click on “User Preferences”.

Sub-units appear as the unit of any format so you can’t Export the Excel that contains these units  

Choose “Time Units” to change the Sub-units.

You should enable the Sub-Units in Primavera P6 so you can export the Excel sheet.

You should remove the “Tick” sign in both the Sub-units for the “Units Format” and the Sub-units for the “Durations Format”.

So, you have to make your format as the following screenshot to be able to Export the Excel sheet.

If you try to export the Excel sheet again, it will be exported easily without any issues.
