How to create Early curve and Late curve from Primavera P6

Early curve and late curve are important outputs from Oracle Primavera P6. I have received the following question from my course trainee:

“Continuation to our discussion and current subjected query can you please advise how to prepare Early curve and Late curve of any Project Schedule.”

The answer is simple and straight forward as per the following steps:

Planning Courses

1- Go to Resource Assignment in P6.

2-  Right click on the table and select spreadsheet fields then customize (see photo below) .

3- Select Early remaining unit and then copy the data to excel.

4- Select Late remaining unit and then copy the data to excel.

5- Now you can make a nice comparison between Early curve and Late curve by creating the cumulative value of both.
