Fastest method to export data from primavera p6 to excel

Very fast and simple method to export data from Primavera, it is the fastest and easiest method I know so far.

Step No. 1:

Open your P6 file and apply all the filters and columns you want to see in Excel.

Step No. 2:

Right-click on any activity and select Export to “Excel”.

Select the location to save your Excel file and that is all. You will have an Excel file like this.

Name the file.

 Applications of this Method:

To create reports in Excel based on the Primavera schedule, such as progress reports or summary reports, etc. the core benefit of exporting data using this method and not using the regular method on Primavera (export to spreadsheet) is what you see what you will get in excel.     Is it possible to copy – paste the columns from primavera to excel keeping the same format?
