We have an urgent requirement for a Planning Engineer

Tanzania Experience: 3-5 Years

Nationality: Tanzanian Only

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline Mandatory Requirements Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls.Preparation of Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).

Experience working in an ERP environment.Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Experience in resource planning, resource tracking, and resource utilization analysis.

Ability to enter and maintain manpower, material, and equipment records within ERP systems.Experience in material reconciliation, inventory monitoring, and consumption tracking.Experience in equipment utilization monitoring and reporting.Ability to perform labour productivity analysis and prepare performance reports.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules.Monitor project progress and prepare planning and project control reports.Prepare DPR, WPR, and MPR submissions.Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization.Perform material reconciliation and productivity analysis.Maintain project records and resource databases.Support management with planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate progress reporting.Candidates with previous construction project experience and exposure to ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, will be given preference.
