We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer for the Red Sea Aluminium Project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

Hiring Status: Immediate / Urgent Basis

Educational & Professional Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Must have valid SEC Approval as a Planning Engineer.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling (preferred).

Previous experience in SEC-approved projects is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.

Experience in infrastructure, power, industrial, or construction projects is an advantage.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Advanced Microsoft Excel.

Ability to develop and maintain project baseline schedules.

Experience in preparing detailed project schedules, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.

Knowledge of project progress measurement, resource allocation, and manpower planning.

Ability to analyze critical paths, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.

Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Ability to prepare progress curves, S-curves, and project performance reports.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in accordance with approved project timelines.

Prepare baseline schedules, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Monitor actual progress against planned progress and identify schedule deviations.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.

Identify potential project delays and prepare mitigation and recovery plans.

Conduct schedule analysis and critical path monitoring.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

Ensure project activities are completed within approved schedules and contractual deadlines.
