Planning Engineer – Cairo Office | UAE Projects (5+ Years)

Planning Engineer FZE is hiring a full-time Planning Engineer with at least five years of relevant experience to join our office in Zahraa Maadi, Cairo, Egypt, and support construction projects in the UAE.

Work arrangement
This is an office-based position in Egypt. You will coordinate remotely with the UAE project team and client.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Egypt time.

Responsibilities
• Review project documents, BOQs, existing schedules and consultant requirements.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6, including cost and resource loading.
• Map BOQ items to schedule activities and prepare physical progress monitoring sheets.
• Prepare project cash flows and time-phased manpower and equipment histograms.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates, progress reports and supporting narratives.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and develop revised and recovery schedules.
• Support claims preparation and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Attend online coordination meetings and address client and consultant comments.

Requirements
• At least five years of relevant construction planning experience.
• Strong practical skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in baseline development, cost/resource loading, progress measurement and reporting.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English and coordinate with UAE project teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet submission deadlines.
• Available to work from our Zahraa Maadi office in Cairo.
