I need some help in understanding the difference between scope baseline, schedule baseline, cost baseline and procurement baseline.
My client asked me to develop these baselines, can we do this in p6.

Dear Engineer Siddiq,
To answer your question, let me explain first for you what is the baseline. The baseline is a comparison reference to compare what actually done with what suppose (planned) to be done. Accordingly, baseline phrase is not solely for planning engineers, for example… scope baseline is a table showing the project scope of work, QA/QC engineer could do it, Project Manager could do it etc. Schedule baseline is required from planning engineer to show list of activities along with dates to complete the project on certain duration/date. cost baseline is related to cost control department where the project has budget cost to be spent on the project to maintain certain revenue. Procurement baseline is the list of materials that should be purchased (mainly prepared by procurement department) along with delivery duration to be sure that the materials will deliver to the site on time and will not delay any relevant activities.
I hope my answer was useful for you.
