Hi Engineer Hassan,
Thank you for your questions. Please find my answer as follow:
1- Our contract say If you didn’t send notification for event to client within two week
You can’t claim any extension of time.
This is very good question and most of the contracts have same condition. As a contractor, what you need to do here is to notify the client that due to this event additional cost and/or time may applied. You do not need to tell how much exactly is the additional cost, or how many days the EOT. It is just a notification and should be sent within certain duration from the event. We will talk about this in details in week number 3.
2- Who is responsible to find and study the event for eot extension of time?
3- What is the role and Main responsibilities for each department for preparing the extension of time?
We will prepare a detailed matrix with the departments and individuals responsibilities regarding the claims and it will be available by week number four. Therefore, better to see it to know the answer of your question.
Best Regards,
Hany Ismael
