Kindly be informed that as per our lectures using progress update depending on the type for your delay analysis technique :
1- Impacted As Planned : No need for updates , working on the last approved baseline and add fragments ” Events as anew activities” link it with its relevant activities , run the schedule and see the EOT days.
Example : activity with 10 days and the delay event start form the day 3 to day 7
i can divide the main activity with 2 activities
Activity 1: 3 days
Activity 2 : 7 days
Link the “Delay activity” : with the 2 activities FS with Activity 1 & Also with the activity 2
Time Impact : You will use the update progress and according to your delays , you will add the delays events and so on.
