1- what is the action if we found during find the events There is no effect on the project finish date as this activity not on the critical path and its float more than the delay
This should be done during the events analysis (We will study it in week 4). We still here in this week in evaluating the events. All you need to study is whether this action from the client is an event or not. However, when you face such situation in your analysis, you record this event as event without impact on project completion date.
2- How can I notify officially internally for my project team for any event i found in any document what I will say to my project team and what is the procedure
There are no standards for this. It depends on your organization and how you communicate with each other’s. Following are samples of communication channels you may use to inform your team:
Internal Memo.
An Email.
Call for a meeting.
Verbal discussion with the project manager.
3- Can an increase in quantities entitle contractor to EOT
Of course. Especially when you consider the time required to procure the additional materials. It is not only about installation. Sometimes procurement impact is much more than installation.
