Dear Fahad,
If you please allow me to comment on your submitted assignment:
- Material Submittal No.3 (MAR-04), If we checked at the response date “12 May 2012” we will find 27 days delay which will delay the whole process of procurement and executing of these fixtures, so it will be a “Hidden Event” caused by the consultant.
- Minutes of Meetings No.3, this is a claims for sure but it is considered as a direct cost claims not an Extension of Time claims if there is no clause in the project conditions documents refers that the contractor is entitled for an EOT if the payments are delayed.
- Shopdrawing No.3, this event will be considered as a direct event, as If we linked between the
procurement scheduled date and the response date we will know that the whole process needs to start from beginning due to the change of the type which will give the contractor the right to ask for EOT. - Site Work Instruction No.1, This activity will not affect the time schedule as it already has Total Float = 78
days and the holding period is only 30 days, therefore this will not be an event.
Kindly notify me if you have any comment.
Best Regards.
