Kindly find the answer for your previous question ,
1- Cost assigned to the activity is not the actual cost which include (Material , Labor , Equipment ).
2- Cost assigned to the activity is the ” Budget Cost ” we can rename it the selling price for the activity , amount of money you as an contractor will get by executing the activity according to its specification and contract.
So we didn’t assign any actual cost to the activity , just the budget cost for the following reasons :
1- Get Cash Flow for the project.
2- Monitor and get the project progress according to the Earned value.
3- Get information about every scope of work budget weight.
4- Hep you in the invoice making with the updates.
