Hi Mr. Mahmoud,
Sorry for that. I just copied and pasted the text from word file. I think I need to write it here. Anyway, here is my question.
I would like to ask this scenario as I am working on a client’s side. In our contract is says that” of any kind, only after the value of the change and the effect of the Change order on any Planned Services Commencement Date for a Phase, the Subcontract price and / or the Performance Standards have been agreed by the Client and the Contractor and until such agreement is reached, the Contractor shall not be required to execute the change.: As an example, below are the events on the project;
28-Mar-2016 – Consultant/Client Site Instruction – informed the Contractor to proceed with the external insulated cement board ceiling
28-Mar-2016 – Contractor’s Planned Start Date (Baseline)
30-Apr-2016 – Contractor’s Cost Approval Letter
19-June-2016 – Client’s Sign Off Date
12-Feb-2017 – Contractor Actual Start Date of the Affected Activity
15-Mar-2017 – Client’s Change Order Approved Date
For us a a client, and to support strongly our claims assessment, my question is, what is the start and end date of the events listed above that we should consider?
